and steel.

A substantial rise in those manufacturing inputs combined with a lower price for beans (which spills into corn and wheat), will hurt a sector already facing some of their lowest profits in a decade.

Hopefully, farmers can organize and help support a Congress that pushes back against the neo Smoot-Hawley policy.
