I'd almost rather they release the report w/o an interview. I doubt we lear

learn anything from Trump that Mueller wouldn't have already discovered.

If they insisted on the interview, it might create the chance to settle the question of subpoenaing the President (if they refused), and it would be a potential perjury trap (especially with the way Trump speaks), but I'm not sure how much we'd really gain.

I'd rather just find out the specifics, and check the political circus at the door. Of course, that's only if Mueller feels the assumptions above are accurate. If he really does think there are insights to be garnered, he'll have to sit down with Trump.
