Their protest don’t turn into drunken looting riots which hurt their cause. Yes, Ferguson was the biggest but there was looting in New York, Baltimore, Charlotte, Houston & other cities, too. They don’t need to take over roads. They don’t need to protest past 10 P.M. That only invites trouble & you know there is no stopping it. Even if you are totally peaceful just being there makes you a part of the problem at that hour. Go home! People will see that you’re upset still and be sympathetic but not if it turns to looting and destruction. Most of all. pick your battles. Had the BLM rallied after Zimmerman was found innocent of killing Trayvon Martin, personally I would’ve been more sympathetic. I thought that was wrong. Michael Brown though had just robbed a store. His side kick who was a part of the robbery, was released to go right back on the street to ignite the crowd. He had the nerve to tell us how Brown was a gentle giant an hour before we’re all seeing video of Brown chocking the owner in the robbery. Sorry, I have no sympathy for Brown. Now had the BLM rallied for the little boy shot in the park playing with a gun..l’m with you. I’m not saying there isn’t some wrongs out there but pick your battles better. Don’t just rally every time a black person has a bad ending with a cop. Sometimes that bad ending was created by the suspect. Eric Garner absolutely resisted arrest and was a huge man. I think it was a travesty that his family got a penny. Often times these cops involved are put on trial & some have been jailed yet the protest continues. Look at the guys kneeling in the NFL. What’s the endgame for the kneeling? Nobody knows. Do we have to go a year without a shooting. Who determines if it’s legit? Are we still suppose to be upset even if the cop is fired or jailed.
