I don't think UVa is glossing over anything.

On the contrary, they are stepping up to the plate and acknowledging all of the U's transgressions. I'm all in on that. But when someone makes outrageous and ridiculous statements about UVa, as in this article, and they are published in a national newspaper, I get angry.
