A lot of people don’t like Warren, but a lot of people love her. Sound
familiar? Kamala is benefitting from being an unknown with a strong debate performance but we will have to see how she does. She certainly could be the nominee, but has a ways to go and not entirely sure how well she will connect with people. She is an intriguing candidate who looks good on paper, sure.
But do voters want a calculating “triangulator” (assuming that is her play) as opposed to a bare knuckled brawler like Warren? Im not so sure.
I can see advantages to both. Kamala is going to need to find her sweet spot. Is she going to be the one who takes over Bernie’s Bros if he drops out? Not sure. She is definitely on offense at the moment, but will it be enough?
What will be interesting to watch with Harris is whether Biden fades and she captures HIS constituency. Now that would be interesting — a final runoff between Harris and Warren.
