If Democrats were to sweep 2020, the most appropriate action moving forward

may be to pardon Trump for all federal crimes in exchange for a full allocution of his conduct while in office complete with documented evidence. That would come with the understanding that any undisclosed transgressions will not be subject to pardon. Doing so, takes things out of the realm of partisanship and lays bare the corruption of the Trump administration. I have no doubt he would not fully allocute and eventually get himself thrown in jail.
