To be fair, there was appetite prior to tax cut. Plus, for two years


it didn't matter what the appetite was outside of GOP. They could do anything they wanted.

Infrastructure would have been a much better use of funds than a tax cut in my opinion. It is expansionary. The tax cut ended up in dividends, stock buy-backs and savings accounts (which isn't a bad thing.) Worse, the tax cut lessened both parties' appetite for any spending, even spending that was (and still is) clearly needed.
