Nor did I. Just saying in the end the only thing that will matter to Reps

is allegiance to the man that brings them the money and the base. All they really care about is getting re-elected. Same with the dems. I seriously doubt there are 3 principled people in the two houses of congress!! Like you, I can admirer someone for the way they play the political game. But, I'm independent and an idealist. Skilled "politicians will not get my vote. I want the truth to be revealed. I want votes counted. The votes are the truest measure of the elected official. It tells us where they stand. If all they do is stand together, we can decide if we want to throw them out just for that! If all they do is try to get re-elected, we can do the same. I have cast many a vote just to get rid of the incumbent because I felt the only thing they cared about was getting re-elected. I strongly suspect I will cast many more votes for that same reason.
