Excluding military service because that's not apples to apples, if you just

take somebody who is the CEO of Ford, Pfizer, GM, IBM, etc (who is accountable to a board) ... that type of company, and compare that to somebody who is the mayor of Anytown, USA, the notion that the mayor is REMOTELY as qualified to be President is a joke. Cville's budget is half of South Bends ... not as large but in the same "class" of city. Look at our fucking mayor. The notion that her "government experience" makes her more qualified to be President as somebody like the CEO of GM? Come on man....

Also, in terms of running the executive branch. The President basically is a CEO whose every decision is public. They can't do anything illegal, but other than that can basically do whatever they want. As far as legislating goes, that's not the President's job (though Congress has been happy to make it so lately). So yeah, I'd much rather have someone with Marry Barra's experience with some hired policy wonks and political operators underneath her than somebody like Nikuyah Walker as President.
