Most of the "sanctuary city" laws are really non-cooperation laws.


They won't hold their non-violent arrestees for ICE, they won't arrest someone for ICE, and they won't let ICE store people in their jails. ICE can do their enforcement actions within them (no local jurisdiction can ban them), they just have to do everything using their own assets. This is something the Iceman either can't or chooses not to understand.
