Even worse, the Obama FBI used a debriefing for candidate Trump as a ruse

to investigate him. Comey used a meeting with Trump to reveal a "salacious and unverified" dossier ( paid for by the Clintons), as a means to get it into the public domain where it was reported as the truth. At that meeting, Comey told Trump not to worry; he was not a target. He then sent the dossier to a friend who leaked it to the press. His motive"?To force a Mueller probe.

When later asked, Comey lied and told the American people that the dossier was incidental and only a small part of his evidence presented to the FISA court. The IG said otherwise" It was both CENTRAL AND ESSENTIAL"
