I have no problem with localities forcing ICE, the absolute lowest rung ...

on the Federal law enforcement ladder, to actually earn their pay by finding and picking up non-violent, non-DUI offenders themselves. That's what a "sanctuary city" really is, non-cooperation on non-violent offenders, but you "conservatives" choose to make it into something akin to "get there and no deportation". Not happenin'. Unless and until ICE fully compensates a locality for any expenditure of resources to apprehend or detain a non-violent deportation-eligible, I wouldn't cooperate with them either. There are a lot of law enforcement organizations in red states who have adopted the same attitude as Rod Tidwell in "Jerry Maguire", "Show me the money!" Or, in simpler English even an ICE agent can understand, "Get up off your lazy ass and get them yourself."
