Way to describe it. He was the closest thing to MJ that anyone could have expected so soon. Almost a clone. And other than that one thing, he was the epitome of a pro and a person throughout his career.

Its that one thing that is always made me feel a little guilty about enjoying him so much. I don’t know what the truth was but I know he never even got his nose dirty ever again, at least not that the media could find, and they looked. That of course doesn’t mean she was lying.

Other than that I think the thing I most remember is the Olympics when he played with LeBron and Carmelo and Chris Paul, the dream team too. Kobe was already in the twilight of his career, but when the going got tough, LeBron and Carmelo and the rest all looked to Kobe in Q4 to carry them home. And of course he did.
