They (young hourly guys) will still have to get themselves laid off.


The point is to have money in consumers hands so they can keep the economy going. I think they should have capped it at most recent salary, but maybe that is just to hard to do procedurally/logistically.

Any overage is certainly a drop in the deficit bucket. Plus, it is four months. I would certainly hope that folks don't make career decisions based on the next four months. Those that do are not drivers of the economy IMO.
