There is a real good docu on Netflix on Joe Cocker. It has quite a bit on Leon.

Leon played quite a hand in one of my favorite Stones songs - Shine a light.

“Make every song you sing your favorite tune.”

Leon’s album with Elton is beyond great. When he died Leon’s estate was only worth $600k. Elton helped it be that much. Leon wanted to repay Elton for his help. Leon said - What can you get for a man who has more money than God? So I wrote Elton a song.
