politics nowadays become so toxic because the politicians, media and so much of society either aren’t mature enough or don’t possess the intellectual capability to have a common sense, constructive conversation; which is 100% necessary to solve problems. People just beat talking points and slogans into the ground based on which side of the aisle they’re on. It’s so dumb.

99.9% of people are on the same side in regards to racism and police brutality, yet, like everything else, the topics become a civil war between left and right. Even when people agree, everyone finds something to create a divide. It’s a disgrace and really shines a light on how immoral and flat out stupid so much of the country is.

And don’t even get me started on how sickening the pandering from politicians and businesses is. So clearly ingenuine from everyone involved it’s unreal. The fact that people are loyal to politicians and defend them blows my mind. These people don’t give a crap about any of this and it’s so obvious.
