He inherited a depression that was going to rebound regardless. His actions, or in some cases...inaction, prevented the rebound from being as impactful as it could have been. He did very little to close out those wars, despite his own declaration to bring every soldier home. He "pushed" a ridiculously complicated healthcare bill onto the American people, even going so far as to defend the individual mandate as a penalty to the American public but then to portray it as a tax to the Supreme Court so that they wouldn't rule it unconstitutional.

When he started his presidency, his party had control of both sides of Congress. Rather than attempting to build bridges and form bi-partisan relationships, he and his party decided to push their agenda without Republicans, and then when Republican's took back control of the Senate he pointed his finger and made excuses rather than working to tear down the barriers that were placed in front of him.

Frankly I don't care about what you think vs. what I think. What I care about is having a leader who doesn't play into that bullshit and can make a dysfunctional government functional again. That's the only way we're ever going to make progress again, otherwise it's just going to be more of the same, over and over again.
