Yes actions speak louder than words, but words do matter (as biden likes

..to say) and so do elections (as Obama famously said).

But, if you want to focus on action, if I were to look back to 2013, would I find a graycal post with lots of whaling and gnashing of teeth regarding the "constitutionality" of Harry Reid's action to remove the 60 vote rule for appointments? You know, the action they called the "nuclear option".

He set this up for the trumpanzees. It was his move, his action, and many warned him of it, but he just didn't care. Obama's nomination wasn't going to make it in 2016, because the GOP controlled the Senate, so it would have been nothing more than a clown show during an election year. HOWEVER, if we still have the 60-40 rule in place,at least Trump would have had to put a moderate up for a vote for Scalia's seat, and would have allowed the Dems to block the most recent appointee because the GOP didn't have enough votes to cram it through. As a result, we would have placed a moderate on the bench in 2016, and allowed the Democrats to "just say no" with this current nomination, which would have maintained the 5-4. Your ire is misdirected, IMO, you should be jumping on your soapbox x10 about Harry, and letting everyone on the Sabre know how his ACTION has done irreparable damage (although not unconstitutional) to the court system though his use of the "nuclear option" in 2013.

Me personally, I don't care for a court that is this lopsided, but we are here because of words and actions, and they are not GOP actions alone.
