There is very little about Trump that says "leave us alone." It's all about beating everyone else into submission so his base can feel like they are on top again.

Nothing about a "law and order" platform based on kicking the shit out of all those demonstrating "woke" types; starting trade wars; trying to push protectionist economic policies; building walls across the border and aggressively arresting and deporting immigrants; stacking the courts with activist judges who will undermine people's rights; etc. that says "leave us alone." The opposite really. At best it's "please put all these other people who make it more difficult for me to win in their place so I can profit." And even then, it's a downright foolish faustian bargain.
