because the Secretary of Defense in the Biden administration will point out the value of maintaining the Open Skies program. New planes with the associated monitoring and defensive equipment will be commissioned. So a small, near term bump to the aeronautics industry will happen to replace the older planes with newer, state of the art aircraft. And the defense industry will need to upgrade the outdated equipment hence another small, near term bump to that part of the economy.

The end result will be a newer, more effective replacement system that will again cause the Russian handlers of DT more consternation. And the Biden administration will receive the credit for not only re-instituting the program but also helping our DoD to maintain their technological advantage on the Russian military.
