did a bunch of sold-out speaking tours. The book wasn't about trans, but some of his public comments were kind of an anti-White Fragility mentality type of thing. Pretty non-controversial stuff whether you agreed with it or not from what I saw, essentially the opinions of a mainstream 60 year old man. The weird part was he was characterized as some kind of mystical far-right guru radicalizing neo Nazis- there was a genuine hysteria over relatively innocuous opinions like "the government shouldn't force people to call people by certain pronouns" and "there are differences between men and women." The other weird thing was his book was about personal responsibility, and he ended up in an induced coma in a Siberian hospital as an experimental treatment for his addiction to benzos.
