I think it would mean a lot.


It would mean the Supreme Court would be willing to insert itself into a presidential election when lower courts have dismissed the case using the harshest of terms. It would severely damage the credibility of the Court with much of the public to get involved in such a case. Enough norms that citizens have relied upon have already been shattered by this election.
