There is a world of difference between having antibodies to a single strain
and having immunity to Covid-19. Again, its the same as having antibodies to one strain of influenza, but still being able to get the flu.
You can argue the text of the article all you want. That doesn't change the fact that both you and the author of the article have an incomplete understanding of immunity as mediated by B-cells in the human body.
Note the quotation at the end of the article, "So it’s not clear. We need to replicate the study in people with moderate to severe infections to understand whether they are likely to be protected from reinfection.” [Post edited by Maupin233 at 05/26/2021 4:56PM]
