That’s probably more of a union issue don’t you think? The point

is to lay the cause and solution entirely at the feet of police departments is completely ignoring the other half of the equation.

In a nation of 370m people there are about 1k killings a year and 99% are deemed justified. Hell I bet 75% aren’t even questionable. So what we’re talking about is 250 a year out of the millions of police interactions.

I think police should and will continue to improve training and such. And should focus more on transparency in shootings and killings.

You mentioned a poor encounter with a cop. How many positive or neutral encounters have you had. I know it’s way lopsided for me and believe it or not I can be a bit of an asshole lol.
