Funny you mention that…

I was a fan of northam trying to get rid of car inspections in va. I am fine with dialing them back significantly (ie…once every 5 years for a brand new car and maybe every other year after that)

In the grand scheme of things I am looking forward to just having more high tech cars so instead of more blanket rules, we can be more precise. For example, instead of an inspection every year for everyone…getting an inspection after 30k miles or something would make more sense or getting an inspection whenever stuff is broken etc.
