a way to paint the GOP, or anyone that doesn't fully agree with him on a solution as someone that just doesn't care as if that made it "fact". I guess it's a twist on his prior claims that "the GOP just wants poor people to suffer and die." Well F him and anyone that takes that approach. It's lazy and disingenuous. As an individual buyer, I'm more impacted by this than he is, so yes, I care. But I want the morons now in power to come up with something that actually helps all people impacted by this clusterfrack, not just doubles down on the garbage we already have and does nothing but make things worse.

As for the bi-partisanship, of course I would love to see that. That's how legislation is supposed to work, Reagan's half-loaf is better than none approach. But I fear that ship may never return to port. Look at the tax bill you brought up. Not one single Dem voted for it. Really? It's so atrocious that not even one single person in 192 that voted could say it's better than what we have now? I wonder how many of those 192 claimed Obama only failed because of the GOP obstructionists?
