More that the outrage machine fueled by Russian trolls influenced turnout.

Remember, they also aimed to sow discord between Bernie supporters and mainstream Dems, promoted 3P candidates like Stein and Johnson, and so on. All of that decreased turnout among likely HRC voters or helped influence decisions to vote for someone else. And the way they were stealing and leaking information had to have influenced Comey to make his “announcement” about Anthony Weiner’s laptop that more or less sunk Hillary for good.

I would say normally it would not have been near enough to influence the election but 2016 was weird enough that it may have. We’re talking less than 100,000 people across three states being the difference between HRC and the Orange POS.

But yeah, really what mattered is at the end of the day enough Americans were stupid and craven enough to vote for that sleaze to be our POTUS. That’s on Murrica.
