I'd hold off claiming victory on NK. A number of presidents have looked foo


foolish in hindsight believing they'd knocked some sense into the Kims (though Trump does get credit for the sustained pressure). Hopefully he doesn't follow the same path as the Iran deal. As for the meeting... what better way to gain a veneer of legitimacy than meeting the leader of the free world face to face? This could end up being nothing more than a propaganda coup.

The protectionist lurch to the left has done nothing but expose the administration's shallow economic chops capped off w/ Cohn's exit.

The rest is political noise.
