Other than some staunch Catholics and fundamentalists, hoo argues that

birth control shouldn't be widely available? And last I checked, they are widely available, and even "free" now, so surely you're not arguing that's the reason for so many abortions, right? All I recall was a discussion on whether it should be "free" on OCare plans, and there is a valid argument that it shouldn't, and possibly just be OTC, because it's anything but "free". I'm sure the BC manufacturers were all for it being kept under the insurance model however, and even better without a copay. Gee I wonder why that was.

Given I'm pro-choice, this wasn't about abortion being a discussion in the 21st Century. It was about questioning the "outrage" over 8-12K gun murders per year (disregarding the lack of justice system effort to stop many of those for the moment), particularly by those that like to mock anyone that takes issue with the well over 600K deaths per year from abortion.
