I know it's the Onion


But to put it into perspective

The Washington post counted 986 people in 2017 that were shot and killed by the police. When you filter for black, under 18 and unarmed the total number is 1.

Th second pic shows average number of kids in the US that are killed by their parents each year. That number is 500.
