Rosenstein is likely to deny the request to prevent Trump from getting ahead of whatever the memos show (though eventually if charges come they’d have to be shown). But, you don’t want to give Trump a heads up on potential evidence before Trump has finalized his story. So, Rosenstein should deny the request. Then Nunes and company will scream impeachment and call for his firing for not cooperating.

Nunes is working for Trump, not the US.
