The supposed gassing gives us the reason to go. There have been genocides

And killings going on all over the world over the years. We never intervene in those other places. This is, as it always is, about oil. Assad is pro-Russia. The CIA is anti-Russia. They are the true leaders of our foreign policy.

I’ll say it again. Why would Assad gas anyone when he had already won? Doing so creates this very situation. We despareatly wanted the rebels to defeat him and it didn’t work. Now that the war is over, and he still isn’t gone, we need an excuse to get him. And, here it is. It’s bullshit, but here we are.
