Yes, in your first post you said the O admin told Comey to describe Hillmailgate as a matter. Nobody disputes that. Or at least that Loretta Lynch said that - Comey says so - but she was the AG and spoke for the admin IMO. Interesting side bar to me - Trumpies constantly defend Trump by saying all his inflammatory, contradictory, and at times offensive speech doesn't matter - why does anyone care? The answer to that question appears to be "politics", because they sure seem to care about Loretta Lynch's words, even though nothing suggests that they had any impact on the FBI's investigation, except in part to motivate Comey to distance himself from Lynch.

I happen to agree with you on that point - Lynch was wrong and in the end added to Hill's problems. She should have recused herself - clearly in retrospect.

Back to the twilight zone - a couple of posts after that, you introduced this notion that Trump's campaign "lock her up" chants were used as justification for Lynch's "matter vs investigation" nonsense. Out of left field as far as I know - I've never heard that before, I've certainly never said it, and I've never thought it.

So I am still at a complete loss for what your point actually is in this subthread. I'll be happy when it scrolls off.
