You can arbitrarily think that, but in this case, it happens to be
the most frequently used mode of communication from our president. And the president's words have ramifications. Right now, we're all encouraged by developments on the Korean Peninsula. But just a few months back "little rocket man" appeared to respond to Trump's provocations on Twitter by launching missiles at the ocean. One sent a part of Japan into a tizzy. That alone can lead to real world injuries. If the missile went wrong, it could have landed on somebody's head. Trump's provocative words, often on Twitter, almost certainly contributed to the spate of NK launches, including that one.
It's one thing when a private citizen vomits nonsense on Twitter. Then, they are just twits. It's another when the president does that. When he perpetuates and spreads to millions and millions of followers memes from a British hate group, for example. This is a politics board, and people tend to react when the president makes public statements (Twitter is that for him). There can be real consequences.
It is generally the purview of ardent Trumpies to claim that his public statements don't matter, all we care about is policy. Except when the other guys are in power. Then words matter.
