That wasn't the question. The question was 'was justice weaponized'

Trump should keep his mouth shut and let DOJ prosecute whoever it needs to go after. We all need to hope that DOJ is a fair organization. Whether or not it is is another question. If he lied to the FBI, then they obviously know about it, and would prosecute if they think they should. Trump inserting his political bias is terrible for our system of justice.

It's like racial profiling. If you scrutinize a certain segment of the population greater because of personal biases, and then punish those people if you happen to find something (but you only really found it because of personal biases), that's a problem. Court cases get thrown out even if the defendant is guilty if the prosecution doesn't follow the rules. The rule of law has tried to be independent of political influence (maybe not as successful as we'd like) for a while. Trump pissing that away is bad for everybody. He is weaponizing justice, and that is bad for everyone.
