I don’t like the false equivalency.

Fox News and conservative media framed the issues allowing no nuance. Obama was terrible at meeting with foreign leaders. Period. Trumps negotiations are a win. Period.

I don’t watch CNN, but the “liberal media” i do access had three general views: (1) Good thing there is a meeting but we will see where it goes because it was light on details, (2) Did Trump get enough concessions talking to North Korea based on their history of human rights abuses to justify the meeting, (3) Did Trump give up too much with his military exercises?

All of these points have nuances. There is diversity of opinion. There is no one sentence takeaway that will be repeated repeatedly.

Maybe CNN wouldn’t be negative if it was Obama, but liberal media is not acting the same as conservative media
