Exactly what the IG report found.
The FBI employs 10s of 1000s of people. Of course they will have political convictions. Probably reflective of the general population's. The point is that a combination of employee professionalism and institutional protocols protect against influence by those biases in investigations. The IG concluded those worked as intended in this case.
It did so in a detailed near 600 page report which detailed evidence of individual bias, along with the IG's conclusions that those biases did not influence the decisions, procedures, and conclusions of the investigation. The report should be a confirmation that the FBI is a professional organization of dedicated civil servants conducting their work systematically and impartially.
Trump is motivated to block that conclusion in his ongoing efforts to discredit anything that might check his power. As he's done with the courts. He won't refer to the entire report. He'll cherry pick sound bites out of context of the entire document. Because he wants to obscure the core conclusion.
And of course we'll see his dedicated minions on this board do the same. They'll regurgitate a few lines which taken alone look damning, with no mention of the IG's ultimate conclusions, which are the opposite of damning. And then a thread later ridicule Trump opponents for doing that same thing with the Russia inquiry.
It's the funniest way repubs have become the party of Trump. The party of law and order doing everything they can to discredit the institutions of law and order.
