Even up to today parents don't know where their kids are, and there
is absolutely no way they're telling the kids "you're about to be reunited with your family". If you are snatched by strangers with guns against your parents' will, it's pretty damn likely you're scared out of your mind regardless of what the agents say.
You say it's out of proportion. How would you react if the government came and seized your kids and didn't tell you where they were going or when or if you'd ever see them again? And yes, people are deported without their kids.
You think this administration has some well-designed plan to make sure they're ever matched up again? And how does a 2- or even 3-year old ever communicate with authorities to locate their parent? And how are the parents going to figure it out with no info from the government?
Yeah, really blown out of proportion. Respectfully, if you wouldn't lose your mind over this as a parent, you're not really much of a parent, IMHO. Of course, you probably would, so it's just a question of empathy, isn't it?
