The President, at his campaign rallies, said the following:
"I'll beat the crap out of you"
"Part of the problem ... is nobody wants to hurt each other anymore"
"The audience hit back [against a protester] and that's what we need a little bit more of"
"Try not to hurt him. If you do, I'll defend you in court, don't worry about it"
"I'd like to punch him in the face"
"...knock the crap out of them...Seriously. Just knock the hell .... I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise."
"maybe he should have been roughed up"
He has tweeted memes of a train running over a person with a CNN logo on it and him beating up CNN WWE style.
He has verbally personally attacked everyone from a Gold Star Family, to "son of a bitch" NFL players, to " low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe," to the mayor of San Juan, to "Cryin' Chuck Schumer" and "Wacky Congresswoman Wilson," and on and on and on.
And then when someone acts in a way that follows the example set by the President of the United States, some of you ... are surprised?
No, that does not in any way excuse what this guy in Texas did. But it's crazy that when people complain about Trump's rhetoric and behavior, some of you accuse them of Trump Derangement Syndrome, tell them to get over it, etc. - and then when someone follows the example of that rhetoric and behavior, you act like it came out of nowhere and is suddenly unacceptable.
