Completely agree. I don't think a life sentence is excessive for this sort

willful misconduct. So, too for, say, prosecutors that withhold evidence beneficial to the defendant, cops planting evidence, etc.

Not only do they ruin the lives of innocent people but destroy the confidence of the public in their supposed servants.
