I would say no; she is not in danger. She is 85 years old. I am surprised that her challenger polled so poorly in the primary. If her challenger has any brains at all; he is running one of the "get to know my name losing campaigns" that sets him up as the favorite when the seat opens.

Mark Warner lost a "good guy loser" battle to John Warner in VA before he won state wide office 2? years later.
