Having no moral/ethical compass gives them the freedom from caring.

I don't know that there is anyone whose word would be respected by them. How about close former advisors who are likely to be unflattering or even accusatory in their depositions or trial testimony? No

How about former or soon to be former advisors who grow a backbone and for the good of the country, step forward to speak out, like maybe Tillerson, McMaster? Nope

I think that they would only believe if the words were to come from Trump's own lips.....and we know that is not goin to happen.
