I'll read it. I'll be the first to admit, Trump's behavior

with respect to russia and Putin is bizarre, particularly in light of all of the preexisting controversy. But I still don't see what Putin has gotten out of it. Possibly the slow rolling of some new sanctions. But Putin also got tariffs on steel which impact Russia's economy causing Russia to retaliate, Putin got the bombing of Syria against his warnings not to do so, and he got the continuation of some pretty harsh sanctions implemented in 2014 in response to Russia's annexation of crimea.

Granted, Trump looks like an amateur clown sharing the stage with Putin and his discrediting of the FBI is borderline "treasonous"... not in the legal sense probably, but more in the "Hanoi Jane" sense. But while everyone is screaming that Putin owns Trump and has gotten everything he wanted from Trump, I fail to see what tangible "gifts" Trump has given to Putin other than making the US looking completely foolish. And while I'm sure Putin derives some enjoyment from this, this is by no means specific to Russia. Trump has been effective at making us look foolish on multiple fronts.
