Not realizing that they were heading up my driveway, I let out our dog

Off brand "invisible fence" equivalent, but our dog is NOT nice to strangers. I opened the door for him to go out, didn't realize that there were 'witnesses' coming up the driveway and a charging 80 lb dog, hackles raised and growling sent them on their way.
