Yeah, we are the oddballs following this stuff closely

Most voters don't. The Trump diehards who do follow were appalled. All but the unreasonable right leaning folks on this board were not defending him - I took that collective silence as not approving of the press conference even though he's their guy. The Fox News team couldn't even put a positive spin on it outside of Hannity and Carlson. People who saw it were appalled, but Fox News has magically stopped talking about it, so most Trump supporters probably will never even know about it.
