I'd be happy with the result but disgusted by the process. I think Kavanaugh sucks on the 4th amendment for a "conservative." Guy has never seen an investigatory tactic he didn't think was constitutional.

But ... We simply cannot live in a world where the mere unsubstantiated accusation (which itself has gone through at least a couple versions to different people not to say it's not true -- just that it's hardly air tight) of a 4-decade old crime AS A JUVENILE is enough to disqualify somebody. If President Kamala Harris nominates a liberal man in 2021, and a former female classmate comes forward the day before his committee vote and claims - with no proof and with the 3rd party allegedly present also denying it - to have been almost drunkenly sexually assaulted by him as a teenager, should that also be disqualifying? Because in that case, we may just get a SCOTUS where the last man or woman alive from the current 8 is essentially a 1 person court.
