I completely agree with most of that

The problem is that the social justice warriors of this country don't agree with any of what you said. After all, if liberals just shrugged their shoulders at a bunch of torch-wielding nimrods and chalked them up as crazy dudes, there would've been no disruption. When it comes to people wearing American flag shirts on Cinco de Mayo (banned by a California school district) or conservative speakers on campuses, people get all up in arms about it. A lot of perfectly reasonable free speech or even some crazy free speech has a lot of people going nuts and demanding said speech get shut down. Again: taking the American flag out of buildings for not being "inclusive." And these people are taken seriously! Like, all the time.

If liberals would have long ago just turned to these social justice warriors when they start making unreasonable demands and said, "oh, shut up," we'd probably be much better off. Instead they started nodding their heads and feeding the beast. Nowadays we can't just let it slide if someone says something offensive. So to me, turning around and telling a segment of the population that they can't take offense - because of their race! - rings hollow.
