help the "cause" you're kidding yourself IMO. She was handled with kid gloves by the SJC, it would not go well for her in an actual investigation by professionals digging for the truth. Nothing would've come out to corroborate or help her story, because it isn't there. And as soon as it turned to "now about your testimony that you never aided anyone in prepping for a lie detector exam" and "now about that story on why you needed a second door, and then went on to use it for rental purposes" it would not have gone well for her.

I'm not sure why Schumer, Feinstein, et al would want her damaged even further just to play a roll in their political games. Much like the GOP still trying to discredit her even more at this point, it just seems cruel. Vote, confirm, leave her alone and let the lady deal with whatever obviously and understandably haunts her outside the public spotlight.
