Just to name two off the top of my head:
Evangelical Christians continue to support Trump without hardly a question.

The Trump faithful are also want to wave the flag and speak of making America great again, while looking the other way as the rule of law, press freedoms, and disrespect for the separation of powers are flouted regularly.

Now, they don't view these as contradictions, as they have a radically different view of what America ought to be and THAT is significantly different than it ever has been.

I'm now convinced that what we are experiencing is not just your usual political disagreement but an inflection point that will determine the degree to which democracy was we have come to know it is maintained or is eroded slowly to the point as to become unrecognizable.
