Issuing a pardon cannot be a power without limit.

The act of giving a pardon to someone for the purposes influencing their testimony in a case involving the person who issues the pardon is the very definition of obstructing the delivery of justice, as well as an abuse of power.

Everyone who is a member of this society understands the principle that none of us are immune to the rule of law. If Donald chooses to pardon someone who is key to the ongoing investigation, it will set a precedent for executive power that cannot be allowed to stand. It will be politically untenable and will also be the beginning of the end of this presidency.
